Illustrations
My Illustrations start with a blank piece of watercolor paper, my tray of paints, and a fresh cup of Orange Pekoe tea. Scratching the surface with my sketching pencil, I outline the subject matter.
The next step is adding ink to all the objects in the foreground, and hash marking the shadows; possibly adding to the shadows with some grey Copic markers.
Finally, I dip my brush into the tea, mix some colors, and begin laying layer after layer of color, until I am finished.
